Do you have the right fundraising film in place in order to maximize donations?

Every Jewish community sees its fair share of fundraisers, and it feels like they're a constant throughout the year.

 

In September 2024, Mishpacha Magazine painted a dire picture and wrote:

Jewish schools "are in distress as expenses soar and longtime donors, facing the financial challenges of a faltering economy, significantly curtail their contributions. School owners have resorted to refinancing their own homes or taking out hundreds of thousands of dollars in personal loans to keep students in classrooms, but are still not making ends meet."

 

With the increasing expense of offering more and more to students in private schools, plus rising costs of security, technology, and accommodations, many schools have had to raise their prices. That money needs to come from somewhere.

 

Do you have the right fundraising film in place in order to maximize donations?

 


People don't make the decision to give based on how much money they have.

People give mostly based on their emotions.  


When producing a fundraising film, our goal is to remind audiences how much you mean to them. We work on building a story visually and emotionally, so if they're not yet emotional about what your organization means to them, we structure our story so that they will be in love by the end of the film and the event where they see it.

 

Above is a recent example of a fundraiser film we produced for the YSZ schools in Queens NY.


YSZ and Beth Gavriel schools offer academic excellence and student-centered learning in a Sephardic environment, in Queens, NY. Since we began making films for them a few years ago, they have expanded and are building their new campus that will hold about 2-3 times the amount of students it currently does.

 

The more an org asks for from donors, the more they need to see in order to "make the sale." Give them a film that makes them recognize what a gem they have in your organization. A film that sets you apart from all the others filling up their inboxes with requests.
